NYC Twestival’s Celebrity Bowling Tournament: Want to play?

Twestival, famous for harnessing the power of social media to bring people together for great causes, is hosting a star-studded ‘Celebrity Bowling’ Tournament in New York City, in association with Brooklyn Bowl and Flavorpill, benefiting non-profit CampInteractive.

With stars in abundance this is your chance to test your skills and become the first-ever World Twestival Bowling Champion.

The tournament will be hosted at the stunning Brooklyn Bowl entertainment complex in Williamsburg. It offers 16 bowling lanes, a 600-capacity performance venue, and an in house branch of the acclaimed Blue Ribbon restaurant.

Guidelines and Rules:

Who? 10 teams, 5 players and 1 celebrity captain* per team

What? Each team will bowl 2 games

What time? Celebrity Bowling will happen between 7-9 pm

How do you win? Aggregate scores will be taken from both games. The team that wins will be the team with the highest score. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams

How much does it cost? Team packages are $100 per player (5 players per team) and corporate packages are $1,500.

Friends package gives you:

- One team of five friends plus a celebrity captain
- Two full games
- The chance to be crowd World Twestival Celebrity Bowling Champions

Corporate package gives you:

- All of the above, plus:
- Company will be named as a supporting sponsor on the website
- Announcement through twitter via @nyctwestival

Celebrity Captains:

We will be announcing the final celebrity captains shortly.

Rules:

  • Each team will have 2 hours to bowl their 2 games. If you do not complete your 2nd game by the end of the time allotted, your team’s current score total will be used.
  • You can have up to 5 players on your team (plus your celebrity team captain, for a total of 6).
  • There will be a team supervisor allocated to each team. That person will be responsible for adding up the score and reporting to the judges
  • Registration must be completed at least 30 minutes prior to the tournament’s start at 7:00. Please ask your team members to arrive at 6:00pm
  • Your celebrity team captain will be allocated on the night of the tournament. Final decisions on team captains will be made at the discretion of the tournament judges.
