Meet Jesus Galvez, one of many CampInteractive success stories, as he shares his history with this great program.

Jesus Galvez migrated from the Dominican Republic in 1994 to The Bronx where he has lived since. He has been involved with CampInteractive since its inception in 2001, as one of the program’s first students and has been actively involved in all of CampInteractive’s year-round programs. He is essential to bringing CampInteractive’s technology center to life. In 2006, Jesus was named Director of Technology and is responsible for running the summer technology sessions and overseeing year round technology classes. This past year, he rewrote the summer technology curriculum instructing summer studends in HTML, CSS and PHP combined with iMovie and Photoshop. He is a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art and Performing Arts and currently studies Chemistry.
