NYC Twestival has some great talent lined up for the night, and we’d like to introduce you to our DJ for the evening, DJ Ghostly.

Also known as Jakub Alexander, he has run his own label for 5 years and turned unknowns into iTunes staff favorites year after year. That music has been placed in current commericals for Prada, Oil of Olay, Nokia, LG Mobile, Banana Republic just in the past year. While he’s regularly spinning indie/rock/electronic every Friday and sometimes Saturday, to show his diversity, Jakub is also the Music Editor at one of the biggest boutique design blogs in the world. He’s done A+R for Ghostly International for 4 years+ now and worked at the company for about 8 years

His DJ History (11 years of DJ experience)
- DJed with multiple large indie acts (DFA, Roger O Donnell of The Cure, Diplo, RJD2 etc.)
- Resident DJ at American Apparel, Urban Outfitters, and boutique shops
- Corporate gigs (GM, Java, W Hotel, etc.)
- 3 wine bar, small plate residences
- 4 bar residences - Held a DJ spot with Matthew Dear for 3+ years
